Industry market scale

With the gradual maturity of photovoltaic power generation technology, the gradual reduction of cost, the preliminary determination of on grid electricity price and the increasing needs of the country to improve energy structure, photovoltaic power generation has developed rapidly.

By the end of 2020, China's photovoltaic power generation has reached 261.1 billion kwh. It is expected that the scale of China's photovoltaic power generation market will reach 317.9 billion kwh in 2021.

According to the 13th five year plan for solar energy development, China's installed capacity of photovoltaic power generation will reach 105gw by the end of 2020. By the end of 2020, the cumulative installed capacity of China's photovoltaic grid connection was 253.43gw, far exceeding the goal of the 13th five year plan. It is expected that the cumulative installed capacity of China's photovoltaic grid connection will be 296.13gw in 2021. During the 14th Five Year Plan period, with the diversification of application markets and the development of power market-oriented trading and partition power sales, the newly added photovoltaic installed capacity will rise steadily, and the scale of the industry market will expand accordingly.

1. Diversified industry applications

In recent years, while encouraging the construction of photovoltaic power stations, China's policies have actively promoted the continuous penetration of photovoltaic applications into other industries.
